since there's already a thread to say what instrument you play, i figured i should make one to say what you play through and maybe a picture. my main rig is.. MIM Fender Tele Ibanez Jetking (Seymour Duncan JB in the Bridge and SD Jazz in the neck) Boss TU-2>> Boss CS-2 Compression/Sustainer>> Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde>> EHX NYC Big Muff>> MXR Phase 90>> Electro Harmonix Pulsar Tremelo>> Ibanez AD99 Analog Delay>> Electro Harmonix Holy Grail Reverb>> Boss DD-20 Giga Delay '82 Marshall JCM800 2210> Mesa Boogie 4x12 Cab [nutsty Homemade Cab with Carvin Speakers] i also have a mim fender jazz bass, a 70s peavey bass head, a nutsty epiphone acoustic, and random noisemakers. this is my most recent picture. it's pre- big muff and holy grail.. i appreciate the filter on this board. sh*tty = nutsy apparently.

I've got assorted guitars and stuff but for the most part I play a standard Fender Jazz Bass through an Ashdown Mag300 C210. Pedalwise I use a Boss BF2 Flanger, a Pro Co You Dirty Rat and a Marshall Drive master.
Looking to add a reverb pedal to it soon enough. I like using unusual effects on my bass.

my rig consists of:
a 15 watt fender practice amp, zero pedals, and a mexican made fender strat.
i'm currently working on a more "sophisticated" setup...
no $$$ = no equipment

okay, yay! updated rig with up to date pictures. MIM Fender Tele Ibanez Jetking (Seymour Duncan JB in the Bridge and SD Jazz in the neck) Boss TU-2>> Boss CS-2 Compression/Sustainer>> Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde>> EHX NYC Big Muff>> MXR Phase 90>> Electro Harmonix Pulsar Tremelo>> Ibanez AD99 Analog Delay>> Electro Harmonix Holy Grail Reverb>> Boss DD-20 Giga Delay '76 Fender Twin Reverb '82 Marshall JCM800 2210> Mesa Boogie 4x12 Cab [in stereo] stereo rigs are the only way to play guitar. stereo delay is the single best invention ever.

I have a Peavey acoustic, but I don't know if it's important enough to have a model number. If it has one it's hiding. Same with my pretty turquoise Washburn acoustic. I also have Fender's cheapest amp, a violin, a piano, and a really crappy keyboard that at the time of purchasing was a garage sale treasure.

'82 jcm800s are godly.
Fender hot rod Deluxe (year before they moved the factory to mexico...99? 00?) Fender pedal tuner > Mesa v-Twin > Line6 DL-4 > whatever other random pedals ESP EC100 with Gibson 498T in the bridge and Dimarzio Evolution in the neck. or Agile Ghost I
i have an awesome MIJ Boss DD-3, but the mode circuit is busted. bummer.
if you're unfamiliar with Agile guitars...i highly reccomend them for quality on a budget.

www.rondomusic.net/korean guitars built high quality to gibson specs...only sold out of this one shop in jersey. quality guitars, low price, and AMAZING customer service. the Ghost I was their explorer copy, but gibson threatened a lawsuit, so now they look more like jackson/esp explorer-style guitars. i e-mailed kurt asking if there were any lefties still lying around, and he said he had a white Ghost I that he used as a display model, so he'd sell it to me used. so i managed to find a left-handed, mahogany, white-with-creme binding explorer for $99. plays like a dream, and everytime i try to find a case it ends up costing more than the guitar did.

yeah, i checked out that site and only saw the ghost II's. i'm not too into pointy guitars. but some of the agile hollowbody gibson copys look nice. also, i've also taken up circuit bending recently. i bent this toy keyboard i got at cvs for 5 bucks. the normal sound is kinda nintendo-y with fast attack and about 1 second sustain. with the bend, it gets really distorted and randomly glitchy and then the sustain lasts for as long as you hold it down. also, if you hold it down long enough, it'll start to feedback :]

Boss giga delay, up to 23 sec. of delay. Morley A&B switch Boss tuner Morley Wah Morley Volume Elctro-Harmonix Holy Grail Reverb Pedal Ibanez Vintage Tube Screamer Pedal :Strings: Ernie Ball Power Slinkys Pretty pricy and professional. With that comes confusion however. www.myspace.com/likeamillionlightsIf you wanna take a listen to what my band sounds like =]
