so long as they're still playing at the bottom of empty indoor swimming pools where i can watch them 2 feet away by a flight of stairs, i see nothing to be worried about.

Where is that? That's way too cool.
EITS are on my mental list of "Bands Least Likely to Ever Sell Out".
Sure, it gets annoying when ticket prices rise or there's a larger (and more likely more annoying) crowd, but they've continued to make gorgeous music. Also, the one time they lent a song to a commercial, they handled it extremely well. Their motivations haven't changed and that's what's important.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the kind words! We have noticed a rise our in popularity recently and we're not hating it at all But we're not going to "sell out" as we've seen other bands do. Our number one goal with our fans is to remain loyal to them and to try our hardest to make music that not only we enjoy playing, but that you hopefully enjoy listening to. So don't worry guys, we're not letting any of this publicity go to our heads. Not yet anyways! Kidding. Love, Explosions

i really dont think they'll be writing any radio pop songs anytime soon so i wouldnt worry about them "selling out". nothing wrong with more people starting to appreciate the wonderful music they create.

That picture's from the St. Augustine concert... no doubt the coolest venue I have ever seen. Not to mention the best live show.

eits deserve to be one of the biggest bands in the world. if they keep creating great music, it shouldn't matter who's listening
