Almost impossible to choose a favorite, every song is a masterpiece. If I had to pick I'd probably say Have You Passed Through This Night? Agreed. But if I had to choose .. Your Hand in Mine

Either A Slow Dance, Your Hand in Mine, or The Birth and Death of the Day. All the songs evoke emotional highs for me.
Sounds kinda cliche, but EITS changed the way I view life, plain and simple.

Nobody ever mentions "What Do You Go Home To" but I think it's a great song. It's a lot more ambiently driven, I think, but I also like "So Long, Lonesome" on that album.
Also, "Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean", "Remember me as a Time of Day", and "The Moon is Down". Those are my favorites and I'm definitely going to learn how to play them all.

^ Yes I hear you crh0872! The piano bits in "What Do You Go Home To" are so beautiful. Ahhh, "Six Days At The Bottom Of The Ocean". I love playing it on electric guitar with lots of reverb. And of course, everyone loves "Your Hand In Mine". The guitar lines really are genius in it. My favourite at the moment has to be "The Moon Is Down". It just replays in my head ALL DAY LONG! Even while I'm taking tests or talking with people. ;D Then again, EITS are the soundtrack to life....

Your Hand In Mine or So Long, Lonesome.
I have favorites from the other albums too, and I honestly can't find a work of theirs that I don't like, but those two just take me to a completely different place.

Your Hand in Mine.
I played HS football, and the last song on the pre-game pump-up CD was YHIM. Every time I hear it I remember sitting in that locker room, preparing for battle. For a few months after my final game I couldn't listen to the song because it nearly made me cry, kind of like if you were listening to a song that was a favorite of someone you knew that died. But once I forced myself to listen a few times I can get back to enjoying it.

Your Hand in Mine
it was the first song i ever heard from them and it was at 1 in the morning going 70 down a 40mph rode with my best friend after getting the highest ive ever been in my life. they are now probably my favorite band. but i cant say i have a favorite because ever piece of work they do is truely amazing. but if not memorial or Welcome, Ghost then Your Hand in Mind has to have it if any.

I love "your hand in mine" and "The only moment we were alone." But lately I haven't been able to stop listening to "A Poor Man's Memory"of off Those Who Tell the Truth. It is so epic and hard... I love it. I just want to see them play it live and watch them go ape shit on stage.

For a long time, The Only Moment We Were Alone was my absolute favorite. The emotions it made me feel were unreal. But as time has progressed, it has been replaced by my new favorite, Greet Death. I get chills from the emotional trip that song takes me on.

MAGIC HOURS is the best song and i'm glad none of you fools like it Beat me to it. Magic Hours is such a great song and it gets absolutely no love. Oh well. For me though, Six Days At The Bottom Of The Ocean & Magic Hours are perfection. Both are my favorite in their own way.
