i'd have to say "first breath after coma". when i first heard that song it was while waiting for a subway late at night and the entire station was empty except for me. it felt like i wasn't really there. its hard to explain. but i'd never felt that way, the combination of that song, the bright lighting of the subway station, the solitude down there. it's hard to really put it into words. best thing to do is go down into a subway staton at around 3am and listen to that song. "best thing to do is go down into a subway staton at around 3am" yes that's definitely a great idea, i love getting stabbed

First Breath After Coma, The Only Moment We Were Alone, and Your Hand in Mine are all tied.
Basically, The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place as a whole is the best thing ever.

Yasmin the Light, no contest, that song puts me in another world. I totally agree, it's probably my second or third favorite song.

Yeah, Your Hand in Mine is absolutley amazing...that arpegio chord progression the bassist plays on guitar drives so deep into me it's ridiculous, every time he repeats it, it gets more intense and then that tremalo comes in...pretty much complete musical purity if you ask me...it's one of those songs that can't possibly be any better than it is. Also, Catstrophe and the Cure off their new album is reallt really awesome, that lead with the Dm chord is haunting, it sounds like something from another planet...sooo glad I got to hear that song live.

Strange that noone mentioned Time Stops or Memorial before. Those are my two favorites. O god I forgot how awesome time stops is. haha I just love when it changes in the middle. I want to jog to this song. Memorial, on the other hand, I was never a big fan of until I saw it in concert. OMG AMAZING hah.

Time Stops is great, probably my 2nd favorite song on How Strange Innocence. I'm can't say I'm too big of a fan of Memorial as well. Great song, but I just don't seem to like it as much as the other songs.

Memorial was probably my least favorite on Earth until I saw it live last night. Incredible. Still, my favorite's probably Yasmin the Light or Your Hand in Mine. Greet Death and The Birth and Death of the Day are probably my next favorites.
