EITS sells them at their shows for $10. I'm pretty sure they still have some, so maybe you could see if anyone going to one of the SP dates can pick a copy up for you.

does anyone have/ has anyone heard or seen of The Rescue being on vinyl, i would pay practically any price for it. The Rescue is easily my favorite explos. album. Right in front of Those who..." Someone had mentioned that it has a very christmasy feel to them. Its the total opposite for me, when i listen to the rescue, i get a real laid back/breezy/summer feel/sunset feel. and thats exactly why i love it. its much happier sounding and not as epic and dramatic as their other songs

Day 8 does something to me I can't quite explain. It popped up on shuffle one day and I had to stop what I was doing to listen to it.
I can give or take the rest of the album, but 8 makes me feel depressed and optimistic in tandem.

I love "The Rescue" too! Sure it's different from EITS' other albums, but it's still quite good.
I love the random talk during "Day 3" about how their van needed to be fixed, ate Chinese food, and took a shower. ;D Strange observation: "Day 6" has a similar ebow riff to "Memorial"...hmm..
And for some reason I really love the songs that are 3/4 timing: "Day 2" and "Day 6" Overall, all of the songs possess catchy elements to them (and spiffy jingle bells)

I'm new to EITS, but not really. I'm a huge fan of the tv show Friday Night Lights and I've always loved the music in that show but had no idea who it was.
Alas....I've struck gold and now have my ipod playlist jammed with the stuff.
Rock on!

i really like the Rescue too, especially Day 8. a couple of friends and myself are planning on writing a screenplay about high school (cheesy, i know) and we wanna use Day 8 as song in it.

A little bit of a bump here: It's quite the departure from their other works, but I love the Rescue. Day 5 is one of my favorite songs of all time. Just thought that was a worthy first post. No? Oh, well. I tried.
