wuddup people! i'm JP, 24 (puerto rican / trinidad) from The Bronx, New York. Been an EITS fan for a couple years now and saw them for the first time earlier this year in February at the end Wordless Music Series here in the City

I kinda hate Hawaii. Nothing to do, and on top of that, no bands ever come here.
Been into EitS for a while now, not too long, but a while. They've recently become one of my favorite bands.

Fellow EITS fans. My name is Sam, I grew up in Southeastern Minnesota (about 20 miles from where they recorded "All of a Sudden..."), and relocated to Oregon for college, where I am currently living. I have been introducing EITS as my favorite band for about four years now... I have been lucky enough to see them live three times. Seriously, every time I have seen them live I have felt that it was the closest thing to a religious experience I have ever had in life. The first time I saw them was a Thursday night, I had my final chemistry class the next morning... I roadtripped 4.5 hours each way (Salem, OR to Seattle, WA) and I made it back for my 8am chemistry class.
Munaf Rayani has been my hero ever since I saw them live for the first time. Before running into explosions, I was into writing instrumental solo guitar music, and finding my music somewhat alienated from what was cool or popular in school at the time. Once I discovered EITS, it was such a great reinforcement for me that I have never questioned the music I write ever since. I consider explosions to be my main influence, as I am sure many of the musicians posting here would agree. If you have a chance, take a peek at some of my stuff... I will post more about it in the plugs section. Ok, well thanks for reading this. -sam
