Of course there are more important things in life, but I was left saddened late Friday night after seeing Ghost Rider. As a kid, I was relatively interested in the comic, so when the movie popped up I was fairly excited. I like Nic Cage, also. The sobering reality is that he couldn’t act his way out of a wet paper bag for this role. Eva Mendes was a bummer (I suspect because it wasn’t ‘Hitch’). The only, and I mean ONLY saving grace of this movie was Sam Elliot’s role. Per usual he kicks massive ass. The tragic summary about this movie is possibly one of the coolest comic book characters was ruined by Hollywood elitist fascism. The 8-year-old inside of me wept.
I apologize for the rant… I just wish someone would take the time.

I couldn't see how that movie could be any good in anyway. After seeing the trailer I wanted my 90 seconds back. I don't know if I could handle 90+ minutes.
And I really don't get what is up with Nic Cage. I mean you have a great film like the Weatherman and then you have a sorry effort like Gone in 60 Seconds or Snake Eyes. it is really disappointing.

i think it's pretty weird that there are so many comic book movies lately. i really think they need to make a marvel civil war movie after the last issue comes out. that would be the most amazing movie ever.

if it was done properly and actually stayed with the storyline and not turned into a love story, it would be amazing. this is the most epic thing to happen in comic book history and it would rule to see the action come to life!
