what do yous think... the title "so long, lonesome" is it saying goodbye to someone who is lonesome, someone who uses lonesome as a noun, or is it saying goodbye to loneliness in general, as a whole, as in, i've found somebody i love and will never feel lonely again... (sorry for the grammar ) also i think this is the first EITS where the piano has sounded so seriously hopeful or so centrally focused... whatever step they took to advance into this direction, i hope is what's propelling them into the future.

I always thought it meant that they were saying goodbye to a lonely part of themselves, if that makes any sense. like at one point the person they are writing about was lonely and that person is saying goodbye to that part of his/her life. sorry if i confuse anyone :/
