I recently came across an album that prompted me to explore the post-rock genre beyond its most successful bands: EITS, Sigur Rós, Mogwai, Mono etc.
Pneuma, the debut album from New York-based Moving Mountains draws inspiration not only from the afore-mentioned bands, but also from indie rock acts such as The Appleseed Cast. they have already won over many Explosions-fans, so I encourage you to give them a listen.
