Basically, i know the Explosions lads are looking to go away for the 'forseeable' future after their next tour... I'm assuming this doesn't mean a split (if it was a split, they would say, wouldn't they?) Anyway; I think this thread could be ... - maybe put thoughts on a song, or moment about an Explosions In The Sky live show for other fans to read and appreciate. If the band stumble upon it, they should have a long read of what it means to be an Explosions devout fan. Me? The Garage show, London (think last year). Front row - Explosions were holding the entire room. Silence was golden, the sound was great. I got so into it that night - it all hit home. I had a picture taken with Mark on my phone (Who is just an amazing guy). People walked out looking completely stunned - i made friends - i met people who were cool - everybody was connected by the music. I promised to send a digi-file of my MD recording i took that night to everyone - then lost the MD - then found it! I think i have it safe now, so will be doing that soon. They played an absolute belter - The Only Moment We Were Alone rocked so hard when it came in I just lost it.... you know the feeling. You? Martin
