EITS LP pre-order tonight/tomorrow!

i'm not sure if there's any other people into vinyl on this board besides me and scuba steve, but temporary residence is starting the pre-orders for the new EITS LP at "the crack of 2007".

On January 1, 2007, we will begin accepting pre-orders for the brand new albums by EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, ROB CROW, CEX and ELUVIUM! As always we will give priority to our faithful mail order customers when it comes to limited editions and colored vinyl pressings. So save up all that Christmas money and meet us here at the crack of 2007 to start the year off right!"

and about the record...

"The first pressing of the gatefold double LP format features an exquisite etching on the fourth side, and will be available on colored vinyl (light yellow and navy blue to match the artwork), and will also include the bonus CD of remixes."


i feel so nerdy. i'm bringing my laptop to a party tonight so if the pre-order starts at midnight, i can make sure i get a copy.

I can hardly wait, let alone keep still! I've been waiting for the past week. holy cow, I'll be pre-ordering the CD and vinyl. I grew up listening to my dad's vinyl records, and I love looking at the cover art. ahhh I'm so glad that the new year is finally almost here. now I just need to take a nap and make sure I wake up before midnight.

Is the cd the limited edition one with the remixes?

I was wondering about that, too. I ordered the CD and the vinyl, so I know that I will be getting the remixes somehow. Hopefully I will have two copies of the remixes so I can give a lovely gift to someone. I'm nice like that.

i don't see the big deal about eits remixes. it's all going to have to be sped up to shit or they'll be the longest remixes ever.

I recall them saying that they'll send everything out around Feb. 7th, so they can arrive at their destinations on or before Feb. 20th

i ordered one for myself and one for my boyfriend as a surprise v-day gift so it sounds like it will get there only a few days after.
