I was looking for songs by "The Explosion" and I accidentally came across a song by Explosions in the Sky. After listening, and being blown away, I then sought after all their records.

I met a new friend a couple years ago, we jammed at our local music store and had coffee. He brought a cd of what he called post-rock (which was then a new term for me) which included Sigur Ros, Explosions In The Sky, A Silver Mt. Zion, Tortoise, Gastr Del Sol, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, etc. I liked most of them, but what stood out most was
First Breath After A Coma.
Since then everything has changed.

i headed out in the car one time with a couple of mates that i had just met and someone put on a tape with First Breath After a Coma on it. After listening to it in the middle of the night parked next to water I bought the Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place the next day...

near as i can recall, i downloaded "greet death" after hearing about the "this fucking destroys" note. i went to manhattan about a week later, spotted both albums at a record store, and scooped them up. been one of the better bands i've listened to ever since.

I don´t find; "Invalid Friend ID. This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted." -a great band.
Sorry.
