I have had my tickets for their show at the Congress Theater in Chicago since the day they announced the show. I am so excited for this show I almost can't contain myself. Is anyone else here gonna be at the show?

I'm sure this goes without saying, but if anyone has a chance to see them please do yourself a favor and go. The show was so amazing. I just wish I could have been in the very front row as opposed to the second haha, but I had to take the time to get a poster. Jason Lytle, who opened for them, described the night perfectly when he said that "Tonight is going to hurt so beautifully." I hope I can keep the feelings I have in me after seeing this show forever.

Just wondering, why didn't you get a poster after the show?

Fair enough. I saw them at a music festival, and they didn't have any posters, so I'm looking forward to getting one when I see them in September.
Is the poster cool?

I have several great stereo recordings from this show before the batteries died on my minidisc. I'm happy to share them here, but wanted to ask if anyone knew the band's stance on sharing recorded shows? I haven't shared it anywhere yet and wont until I know this..
Thanks, dep

they're fine with people recording their shows and have given permission for shows to be hosted on archive.org (i'm sure they're fine with other places, but archive.org's live music archive requires permission from the band) www.archive.org/details/ExplosionsintheSkyi'm sure you can find / post stuff on other boards / torrent sites / etc.
