Could anybody tell me what song they were playing when munaf got off his guitar and got on the drums and started kicking ass?
That had to be one of the greater parts of the show.

yeah i was really hoping to hear the birth and death of day as well
as well as a poor man's memory
but getting first breath after coma, yasmin the light, welcome ghosts, your hand in mine and the only moment we were alone (plus others) was amazing to say the least

Haha, I wanted to hear The Birth and Death of a Day just as bad as you guys. I really like that song as well, especially towards the end.
I don't know about ya'll, but after listening to the new record a ton of times, I think it's a big step forward. For me, all the new songs seem to have an extra layer of depth added on top.
It was a nice set of songs, for sure. This was all they played, right?

I believe they mixed in Memorial right after Yasmin.
I remember it because of the awesome-ness of the ending. Three hands in the air---three hands banging out the power chords, followed by three hands in the air, etc., etc.

hey, the girl i dated last used to always tell me how cute munaf was. i think she did it to incite me  . i told her, well if you like munaf soo much, go after him! speaking of the houston show though, i have an interesting story to tell you about it. i left after work from austin to houston and got pulled over by the po po for speeding. 86 in a 65 and guess how much my ticket was? a whopping $188.00. of course i got to the show late too. most expensive concert i ever attented by far. |
