Hey all, Just got back from an amazing (but really too short) gig in Brussels. Here's the setlist: 1. Your hand in mine 2. Greet Death 3. Catastrophe and the cure 4. (not really sure, thought it was 'it's natural to be afraid' but could be one from TWTTT... ) 5. Memorial 6.Welcome, ghosts 7. The only moment we were alone
Great concert, but a little bit dissapointed cause it was really short and they didn't play a lot from the new album. Also they didn't play the piano (cause no 'what do you go home to?' and no so long, lonesome'), although it was standing there on stage, and that was something I was looking forward to. Ah well, nevertheless, it was great! Hope they will play longer and more new songs when they play here again in April in Leuven :-)

Hey all, Just got back from an amazing (but really too short) gig in Brussels... Great concert... The gig was good... but certainly NOT a great concert and far from amazing. Because of the sloppy guitarplay at some points the songs just lacked intensity. Though the new songs were fabulous. And I got a few chills running down my spine... Just a pity I only got them during 'The only moment we were alone' which was their last song. The dissapointment only got bigger when they quit the show after only seven songs. The crowd totally went wild thinking the guys of EITS will return for some extra songs. The applaus and cheers went on for over five minutes, maybe even longer. Everyone clapped their hands hoping they would play another song, perhaps even two. But no... no one appears on stage except the roadies. What the fuck man?! Sigur Rós and dEUS play almost twice as long. I have spend more time in the train on my way to Brussels than they spent on stage...

They almost never do an 'encore' at concerts. I said it was a great concert, just because it's my favoutite band playing my favourite songs, but indeed, it wasn't the greatest concert I have seen from them.(for example nothing compared to the LNBgig almost 3 years ago or the Sojo-gig here in Leuven). Also a pity they didn't play a lot of new songs... ah well, they can have a rematch in april ;-)
